The most important factor in choosing the perfect pointe shoes is your individual foot shape, which makes a proper fitting essential. The perfect fit will not only enhance your comfort and performance but also reduce the risk of injuries and discomfort.

For ballet dancers, the choice of pointe shoes is a critical decision. The right pair can make a world of difference in terms of comfort, support, and performance.  It's crucial to remember that every dancer's feet are unique. The differences in arch height, toe length, and width can significantly impact your choice of Pointe shoes.

We are passionate and dedicated to assist dancers on their Pointe Shoe journey.  With a strong background in dance teaching and anatomy plus over 20 years of fitting experience we look forward to assisting you.

Discuss with your ballet teacher as to whether you are ready to go onto pointe, some teachers will advise the student to undertake a Pre-Pointe assessment with a dance-related physiotherapist.

Wear fitted comfortable clothing as you will be asked to plié. It is also important for your fitter to see your knees and feet at the start of your fitting, so either wear convertible tights or use the ballet socks provided in store. Also, make sure your toenails are trimmed.

If you have been on pointe before, please remember to bring your current pointe shoes, toe pads, and any accessories you might use with your shoes.

Pre Orders: Some of our pointe shoes are available for pre-order when they are out of stock. You will receive an email notification when your pointe shoe has arrived and we can then ship to you. We are happy to contact the manufacturer and source your shoes promptly.

We will provide tips and advice on how to sew pointe shoe accessories and elastics, ribbons, etc.
