The Classic Pointe is the legendary original Freed of London Pointe Shoe and still the most popular. Hand lasted by Freed of London makers with a deep vamp and a naturally angled platform. PLEASE NOTE: Freed of London Classics are made by hand especially for you.

Excellent balance between strength, lightness and quietness. Has the ability to mold to the shape of the individual dancer's foot providing comfort and support, whilst retaining flexibility.

Care

To maximise the life span of your pointe shoes after wear remove your toe pads and put them somewhere to air and dry out. Do not store in polythene bags. It also helps to fill the block area of the shoe with thin paper. This encourages the block to maintain its original shape. The outside tip (platform) of the shoes should be protected by using suede toe caps or darning. This reduces the wear and improves the grip.

If you have never had pointe shoes fitted before, or you are unsure of your size, it is recommended that you have a professional fitting done in store.
